Here's an example of what deep institutionalized racism look like .. it's blatant.

This concerns the badge worn by the Governor General of Jamaica.

What is the role of the governor general?

It is the governor general who summons Parliament, sets out the government's program by reading the Speech from the Throne (Queen of England), and gives Royal Assent which makes Acts of Parliament law. The governor general signs official documents and meets regularly with the prime minister (same as President) and government officials.
